Vital Signs Monitoring
The first ear tag to continuously track cardiovascular metrics like heart rate and heart rate variability. Measuring seven total parameters, HerdTek provides the richest data foundation for herd health analytics.
On-Device AI
A neural network classifies four behavior types directly on the ear tag. The system detects whether a cow is eating, ruminating, standing, or lying down. Processing data locally slashes bandwidth and extends battery life.
Long-Range Wireless
Ultra-low-power radio tech delivers up to five years of tag battery life while maintaining reliable barn coverage. Thick concrete walls and wide pastures no longer disrupt your data stream.
30-Day Offline Buffer
Cellular outages will never cost you data. The base station and ear tags store all metrics locally for up to 30 days, syncing automatically with the cloud as soon as the connection restores.
End-to-End Encryption
Your operational and herd data stays protected. Every dataset is encrypted from the tag directly to the cloud, blocking unauthorized outside access to your farm network.
Digital Record Keeping
Log barn events instantly on your smartphone. Set up dedicated access for staff or your vet so everyone stays aligned without relying on paper records.
Zone Location Tracking
Cut out daily search time. Instantly see whether a cow is in the main barn, the dry cow pen, or out in the pasture during rounds and herding.

Health Anomaly Detection
HerdTek evaluates all vital signs simultaneously to detect early indicators of emerging illness. This allows you to intervene well before a cow displays visible clinical symptoms.
Heat Detection
The system processes sensor data to pinpoint the ideal window for successful insemination. During pilot testing, we are fine-tuning algorithms across different farm setups to prevent false alerts.
Voice Assistant
Speak your observations directly into your smartphone, and the AI automatically logs the details into the cow's digital record. We are actively expanding functionality based on hands-on feedback in the barn.
Hardware Stress Testing
We continuously push our ear tags through extreme environment testing, exposing them to dust, heat, and constant moisture. This ensures multi-year battery life and durability hold up under real farm conditions.

Early Calving Alerts
A cow's vital signs shift dramatically just before calving. We are building a precise early warning system to notify you as soon as the process begins. The goal is to minimize birth complications and ensure you only wake up at night when you are actually needed.
Disease Classification
We are training our AI models to recognize the specific data signatures of complex issues like mastitis and ketosis. Instead of just a general health alert, the system will flag a specific condition to investigate.

Feed Optimization
We are connecting herd vital signs directly to your feeding data. If the system detects a drop in rumination across the entire herd after a silage change, it will immediately provide actionable insights to help you adjust rations.
Herd Dynamics
We are turning herd behavior into tracked data. The system monitors social hierarchy and feed bunk competition so you can identify stressed cows early. This added context allows our AI to personalize health alerts for every single animal.
Meter-Accurate Tracking
We will unlock meter-accurate indoor navigation via software. Your smartphone will guide you directly to the exact cow without any manual searching. The required sensors are already built into your existing tags, and we are currently perfecting the tracking algorithms for large herds.
